Thread Lift Treatment (version 1.0)
The purpose of thread is to lift. There are now many types of threads and almost all are dissolvable. It is important to achieve results and one to use the best thread for the particular situation.
What area can be treated with threads?
Most threads are used for the mid face, jowl and neck. Eyebrow lift is less common. Each procedure need to be tailor made for the client so a face to face consultation is necessary.
How long does the effect last?
Results of thread lift generally lasts 1-2 years.
What is the cost?
Cost of threads start from a few hundred dollars to over two thousand dollars depending on what areas are being treated.
Is it painful?
You will be given local anaesthetics.
What are the side effect?
Swelling and bruising is common and may last up to 7 days. This depends on how many threads and location of threads. There may be tenderness lasting one week.
Is it possible to damage nerve?
We avoid doing area of high risk of nerve damage.
When do you need to repeat the procedure?
Depending on how many what area and how many threads are used, the results generally lasts more than 12-18 months. More threads can be inserted any time after one month depending on requirement.

Day 1 – Slight pain and discomfort. One can take Panadol but it's usually not necessary. You may feel or hear a pop sensation along the thread lines. This is normal if tension of thread is too tight.
Day 2 – Make up can be applied.
Day 4 – Areas may be slightly tender but it will continue to improve.
Day 7 – There may be pinching or pins and needle sensation through out but would settle by now
Expected after care
You will be required to take antibiotics for 6-7 days.

Aftercare
- Do not massage the face.
- No strenuous exercise within the first week.
- To wear a neck support 2-4 hours per day for the next two weeks.
